7 tips to make your real model application stand out

A BBO real model application takes about three minutes. Within those three minutes, a few small details decide whether a reviewer thinks “we'd love to work with this creator.” Here are seven tips from the reviewer's point of view.

1. Use contact details you actually check

Selection messages go out quickly. If you live outside Korea, include your country code and add the messenger you use most — WhatsApp, LINE, KakaoTalk or Instagram DM. Missing a message is the most avoidable way to lose a chance.

2. Pick one main account — your most active one

If you run several accounts, list the one with the most recent posts and the best engagement as your main account. Tick your other platforms under “Platforms.”

3. Unfiltered photos in good light

A front-facing photo is required. Use a photo from the last three months, taken in bright natural light with no filters or retouching. Side and 45-degree photos make the review much easier.

4. Select every category you are interested in

Campaigns change with the season and our partner clinics and brands. Besides surgery and skin, tick the K-beauty categories you like — skincare, nails, hair, spa — to widen your chances.

5. Share your content plan

In the message field, add one or two lines about how you would document the campaign: Reels, a blog post, a vlog. A concrete plan helps us match you with the right campaign.

6. Be specific about when you can visit

“Weekdays after mid-December” or “in Seoul the second week of January” lets us connect you with campaigns that fit your schedule first.

7. Read the consent items carefully

Consent to share your profile with partner clinics and brands is needed for review. Your name and contact details are not shown before selection, and you choose whether to proceed once selected. For campaigns that involve a procedure, eligibility is always decided by a specialist consultation.
